I just don’t understand how such a chasm can open between two people. How can my ex not see the forces at work around us? Or at least appreciate where I found myself by following the breadcrumbs I left behind? How can you see what happened at Bondi Beach last night and not understand the threat of Islam and unfettered immigration? How can you see young girls with chest scars and not understand the harms of trans ideology? What makes him choose this set of ideas over his own family? It continues to haunt me.
