Our very own @YayRain (after having imbibed some golden nectar), shares with us yet one more problem with CRT....
I made this for my friend's daughter who is trying out pottery. I've been making her little instructional videos and this one is a timelapse of me trimming and putting a handle on a mug. Thought I would share in case you guys find this interesting.
Someone shared this with me who said it had been circulating in the Hasidic community. Will likely offend a lot of people these days.
Hi everyone, I haven't been active in Solid Ground for a while, but I am still alive and kicking! I now work as personal assistant to a mind-bendingly weird and diva-esque artist-lip-syncher-performer named Fiona Blueberry. She is blissfully clueless about politics and seems to be completely unaware of the culture wars. Working with her is a breath of fresh air. If you need a mood lift, I encourage you to watch this video we made together. Happy 4th, everyone! Wishing you fun/love/peace on this holiday. :) www.fionablueberry.com
As a SAHP for many years (with side gigs) I was excited to see this plan to use federal funds to help families. We pay a hefty economic price as a single-income household. Sadly, my husband's response was the opposite because of the biased slant. The headline alone: Trump Officials Draft Plan to Pay At-Home Parents, Using Funds for Working Ones. https://www.nytimes.com/2026/09/05/us/politics/stay-at-home-parents-subsidies.html
James Lindsey suggested that in order to stop socialism in America, normie Democrats may need to vote for (moderate) Republicans a couple times to knock the zealous Democratic Socialists down a few pegs. But how in the world can this happen when most
Democratics have completely deranged views about conservatives, calling them “facists”, obviously having lost the actual meaning of the word. Any ideas on how we get out of this mess?
tgif... after a 9 months hiatus from the band, izzy returns to the graystones in a cool remake of the george michael & elton live duet version of "don't let the sun go down on me" i am still stunned how well these young kids (age 13 to 16 across the band) capture all the subtle inflections and soul of these original classics ... will link the original under the post for for reference. enjoy and have good weekend! 😎
