Happy Independence Day! This is a nice rundown of the freedom lovers who started it all. Pretty amazing bravery, and many of them paid a high price for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

It's almost July 4, and you know what that means: It won't be long before you're reading an e-mail telling you all about the men who signed the Declaration of Independence.
Trouble is, much of the information flying around the Internet isn't reliable. Just ask Boston Globe columnist Jeff Jacoby, suspended last year by his bosses for a column on the signers, the gist of which had been zipping around on the Internet.
So, for the record, here's a portrait of the men who pledged "our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor" for liberty 225 years ago:

While driving on the main commercial road around where I live (i.e., neither a highway nor residential), I found myself sitting behind this Coca-Cola truck at a stoplight. I did a triple-take when I noticed what was emblazoned across the truck's tailgate door. Had to quickly snap a pic to confirm it was real... Can someone explain to me what this portends? Thanks!
