Hey, I wanted to bump this Benjamin Boyce episode back to the top of the stream. As I do my own navigating of the current moment, including the open (and interesting) questions about "authoritarianism" vs. the classical liberal approach (and Liberalism in general; are we post-Liberal?), this Boyce conversation nailed it (again, for me).
Curious if anyone else finds it as compelling. (Acknowledging that @Sephira mentioned that she also enjoyed this one.)
Hi everyone, I haven't been active in Solid Ground for a while, but I am still alive and kicking! I now work as personal assistant to a mind-bendingly weird and diva-esque artist-lip-syncher-performer named Fiona Blueberry. She is blissfully clueless about politics and seems to be completely unaware of the culture wars. Working with her is a breath of fresh air. If you need a mood lift, I encourage you to watch this video we made together. Happy 4th, everyone! Wishing you fun/love/peace on this holiday. :) www.fionablueberry.com
Listening now to the legislation going on there (including ones compelling speech). Should be able to access the recording later. https://x.com/i/spaces/1mrxmPlPreLJy
Today on the livestream Christine referred to a paper she had coauthored with Bonnie Snyder, which is entitled "Compassionate Recovery from Indoctrination for Parents Concerned about Their Children." You can find it here.
