For some rare good news regarding the 2026 midterms, four states passed ballot measures restricting transgender athletes from competing in girls' and women's sports: Nebraska, Arizona, Colorado, and Washington.

Nebraska (Initiative 442): Enshrined the existing ban on male students in female teams into the state constitution, passing with 68% support.

Arizona (Proposition 318): Expanded restrictions to private schools and athletic leagues, and prohibited using facilities (restrooms/locker rooms) not matching the sex on the original birth certificate, passing with ~59% support.

Colorado (Proposition 134): Required K-12 and college teams to be designated by biological sex, with students competing accordingly, passing with ~52% support.

Washington (Initiative 638): Banned trans girls from girls' K-12 sports and required healthcare provider verification of sex for eligibility, passing with ~57–60% support.

As I reflect on the Woke phenomenon it occurs to me that we need a new Martin Luther - a new reformation that frees people from the incessant desire to "do good" and change the world and accept that God's love makes us whole rather than "good" works.
