One of the women who bullied me on Twitter last year (because they didn't like my husband's podcast topics/guests) and tried to get me fired showed up in my comments today. I asked her to leave me alone and she responded by blocking me. Good riddance, but I find myself wishing I'd told her to fuck off more strongly. As in "please do fuck right off."
I made this for my friend's daughter who is trying out pottery. I've been making her little instructional videos and this one is a timelapse of me trimming and putting a handle on a mug. Thought I would share in case you guys find this interesting.
Someone shared this with me who said it had been circulating in the Hasidic community. Will likely offend a lot of people these days.
Hi everyone, I haven't been active in Solid Ground for a while, but I am still alive and kicking! I now work as personal assistant to a mind-bendingly weird and diva-esque artist-lip-syncher-performer named Fiona Blueberry. She is blissfully clueless about politics and seems to be completely unaware of the culture wars. Working with her is a breath of fresh air. If you need a mood lift, I encourage you to watch this video we made together. Happy 4th, everyone! Wishing you fun/love/peace on this holiday. :) www.fionablueberry.com

Keeps me sane & minimizes the Doom Scroll 😁

"snarky music?
@Yayrain
Just had "canvassers" bang loudly on our front door and ring the doorbell twice. I opened the door hesitantly because of the aggression. It was a young person (looked like a teen boy dressed as a girl, wearing heavy makeup and a long furry red tail 🤦♀️) accompanied by an older woman wearing a shirt with the pride progress flag that said "no hate." They were urging a vote on some proposition to do with trans kids in schools.
I'm afraid I was somewhat rude.
When there was (and is) an inordinate pressure to believe something so totalizing, (trans identity) I was tasked to find the coherency in the assertions. I could not.
