Abortion bias in Anthropology.

So we know Neanderthals buried their dead babies (ceremonially too). We know we didn't find any remains of the mother near the 8 month old "fetus" ... And anthropogists identified this baby by finding multiple bone fragments so kind of seems like they would have found evidence of the mother in the same location if they were buried simultaneously but ...
Yea let's just assume this wasn't burial of a miscarried baby because that would imply that even Neanderthals could recognize the personhood of an unborn baby... Can't have that. Let's just ASSUME all the pieces of the mother magically vanished leaving only traces of the fetus inside her. Yea that checks out. /S.
