I had a massage therapist today (I’ve been working in some myofacial…tongue, face and mouth stuff) tell me that sometimes tense muscles can be evidence of withholding my truth and people pleasing. Don’t know how much I believe in it, but it fits.
But in describing my situation, I said I have friends that lean one way, and a family that leans the other, and that I’m subconsciously censoring myself in both groups…and it is easier in one than the other.
But I also thought, how weird of a world is it that my conservative/Trumpian friends are my GAY friends, while my family are the ones who, while not explicitly liberal or conservative, are severely anti-Trump. People are often surprised when I tell them this. Cause stereotypically my friends and myself would be SJW flaming gays while my parents and aunt and uncle would be the die-hard conservatives addicted to Fox.
I made this for my friend's daughter who is trying out pottery. I've been making her little instructional videos and this one is a timelapse of me trimming and putting a handle on a mug. Thought I would share in case you guys find this interesting.
