I took Tuesday afternoon off to attend a Let's Go Washington rally at the Capitol building to support two ballot initiatives: fairness in girls’ sports and parental rights in schools. Jamie Reed from the LGB Courage Coalition and Tish Hyman were among the featured speakers. Amy Sousa also spoke at a listening session after the rally. It was a great day!

I made this for my friend's daughter who is trying out pottery. I've been making her little instructional videos and this one is a timelapse of me trimming and putting a handle on a mug. Thought I would share in case you guys find this interesting.
Someone shared this with me who said it had been circulating in the Hasidic community. Will likely offend a lot of people these days.
Hi everyone, I haven't been active in Solid Ground for a while, but I am still alive and kicking! I now work as personal assistant to a mind-bendingly weird and diva-esque artist-lip-syncher-performer named Fiona Blueberry. She is blissfully clueless about politics and seems to be completely unaware of the culture wars. Working with her is a breath of fresh air. If you need a mood lift, I encourage you to watch this video we made together. Happy 4th, everyone! Wishing you fun/love/peace on this holiday. :) www.fionablueberry.com
In a legal first, a jury in New York awarded a 22-year-old woman $2 million in damages over her gender transition surgery that took place when she was a teenager. The plaintiff accused her psychologist and plastic surgeon of violating standard practices that led to her receiving a gender transition double mastectomy that she feels left her disfigured.

To roomie: I hope that we can agree that xxxx stays out of emotional manipulation and indoctrination. My goal is to raise her to adulthood without becoming fodder for revolutionary causes that don’t give a crap about her. I don’t want her marching in the streets with her middle school like the new Red Guard. I don’t want her psychologist and doctor convincing her to chop off her breasts like Varian Fox just because she dislikes puberty and the depraved attention of men. I don’t want her to walk around thinking about the color of her skin and how that makes her an oppressor. I don’t want her thinking that all of her lineage are evil people. I don’t want her to be denied the joys of parenting due to fear of the planet ending. I don’t want her to be taught about self immolation in “Sunday school.” These are evil ideas to put in a child’s head. Please acknowledge that people have the right to refuse your revolutionary ideas for the health and well-being of those they love.
