As a homeschooling Mom I will attest to the fact that fancy private schools are not necessary, but you must be willing to sacrifice your ego (aka: job, income, friend group, free time). Furthermore, academic success is not necessarily what privileges the kids in this article: it is moral clarity and prioritization.
Iāve had some of my own SJW/woke triggers (I guess you could call it OCD) recently. But a phrase I thought of to encapsulate my feelings is this:
āI didnāt grow up under the understanding that men and women serve as EQUAL partnersā¦or even that women and girls are ābetter than menā only to still be accused of being part of the problem of being a man.ā
Okā¦admittedly, the way gender dynamics are talked about (āmale-dominated spaces,ā āpaving the way for women in those spaces,ā etc.) tends to hit me very personally. Like an automatic accusation unless Iām individually affirmed just as an individual. I know. I have this ailment. But I just hope Iām not alone.
