Joe Rogan Experience #2247 - Duncan Trussell
I do not typically listen to JRE. I listened to this one, because it was the episode in which Rogan mentioned "The Telepathy Tapes" - the podcast which recently surpassed his ratings on Spotify. There is a LOT of deep meta-content in this one. For example:
Duncan Trussel knows what a siddhi is - and acknowledges that pure stand up comedy is an example of such. (Western mystery schools use the word "clair" for the Hindi word "siddhi".)
Hi everyone, I haven't been active in Solid Ground for a while, but I am still alive and kicking! I now work as personal assistant to a mind-bendingly weird and diva-esque artist-lip-syncher-performer named Fiona Blueberry. She is blissfully clueless about politics and seems to be completely unaware of the culture wars. Working with her is a breath of fresh air. If you need a mood lift, I encourage you to watch this video we made together. Happy 4th, everyone! Wishing you fun/love/peace on this holiday. :) www.fionablueberry.com
I have the opportunity to go on the record regarding my thoughts about DEI for an article in my undergrad alumni magazine. (I met the author at the Robert George event while mingling before the talk.) My inclination is not to do it. I can't have the author cite the info I give her off the record. What would you do?
Walter Kirn went to see it. Per him on X:
Irony off
The new Times Square statue is doing something modern art does well
Make you wonder what art is
And why you think as you do about it
Man was it interesting being out there just now
People are just baffled
The int'l tourists especially
