I went to a doctor today who must be in his mid-to-late 80s and had extremely good ratings on ZocDoc. I told him I'd read a lot of good things about him there, and he joked that he'd paid people to do it, adding something to the effect of, "But not as much as Harris paid Oprah to be interviewed by her."

Can I just say that I am so exhausted from years of gaslighting from professionals and family members. I am saddened by how mothers are sidelined in diagnosis and treatment. The professionals want to assume parental role, but do a lousy job. Let's just say that I was right and they were wrong. Again.
