I had the pleasure of speaking with Christine Sefein yesterday on a live stream- she talked about a new podcast she is co-hosting for Critical Therapy Antidote, and a new book coming out called Cynical Therapy (I don't recall the subtitle, but I'm very much looking forward to reading it!).
Someone shared this with me who said it had been circulating in the Hasidic community. Will likely offend a lot of people these days.
Hi everyone, I haven't been active in Solid Ground for a while, but I am still alive and kicking! I now work as personal assistant to a mind-bendingly weird and diva-esque artist-lip-syncher-performer named Fiona Blueberry. She is blissfully clueless about politics and seems to be completely unaware of the culture wars. Working with her is a breath of fresh air. If you need a mood lift, I encourage you to watch this video we made together. Happy 4th, everyone! Wishing you fun/love/peace on this holiday. :) www.fionablueberry.com
Just wanted to share some love. This was a response to me defending Kristin Chenoweth. Even though she is an LGBT ally, she has the decency to mourn with those mourning Charlie. Then it’s like the “LGBT community” comes and “puts her in her place.” Of note is that she ALSO came to perform for Christmas in 2018 with the Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square. And even THEN many in the LGBT world criticized her for it. It really irritated me back then. I wanted to make sure she knew that there ARE gay people in the Tabernacle and that we join the rest of the populace in the excitement of having her perform with us.
I am so grateful for the Open Therapy Institute and will likely use a therapist through their network. However, if you have a therapist and you are trying to vet them for indoctrination, what questions do you ask that are not too direct?
